BlogVault
Why choose it: WordPress agencies and WooCommerce stores that need off-site backups, staging, migration, and order-aware recovery.

WordPress backup plugin with scheduled jobs, restores and cloud destinations.
#5 of 6 in Backup Plugins by Overall Score
BackWPup backs up WordPress files and databases to local or remote destinations and supports restore workflows from the plugin. Its current feature set includes scheduled and performance-aware backups, multisite support, WP-CLI management, and direct storage to services such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Amazon S3, Dropbox, and S3-compatible providers.
BackWPup can generate a unique trigger URL for an individual backup job, allowing an external cron service to initiate that job without relying entirely on ordinary WordPress traffic. Its restore workflow differs by edition: free users download and upload the archive, while Pro supports restoring directly from the backup list. A standalone restore application is available for recovery without dashboard access.
