What Is Duplicator?

Duplicator packages WordPress files and databases for backup, cloning, and migration, with scheduled jobs and remote cloud storage in Pro. Recovery Points enable one-click rollback, while its Migration Wizard, drag-and-drop imports, server-to-server transfer, multisite support, WooCommerce backups, and AES-256 archive encryption cover more complex moves and recovery scenarios.

Best for: WordPress professionals moving, cloning, or backing up sites across hosts and cloud storage destinations.

Duplicator Pro can designate an existing backup as a disaster recovery point, making it possible to retrieve a recovery link when a subsequent import goes wrong. The Recovery tab is not active in Lite and requires an eligible license. Its import wizard accepts the plugin’s archive formats, so site owners can transfer a prepared package instead of moving each database table manually.
