What Is Voxcene?
Voxcene is a mobile-only video editor built around turning long recordings into short-form clips, so users do not start editing from a blank timeline. Its AI Studio tools find standalone moments inside a longer video and split them into their own projects, list filler words ("um", dead air) for review before removing them, and generate captions in 60+ languages across a large library of caption styles, with an option to dub a video into another language using an AI voice. Every AI suggestion is shown as a proposal the editor approves, adjusts, or rejects; nothing is auto-applied to the video. Underneath the AI layer is a standard manual editor (split, speed, volume, scale, color, audio cleanup) for creators who want to finish the edit by hand.
Best for: Solo creators and mobile-first video creators who record long-form footage and want AI help turning it into short-form clips without moving to a desktop editor.
The app distinguishes caption-only filler cleanup from removing the corresponding footage, allowing editors to preserve natural speech where a cut would sound wrong. Its Greek-focused typography handles capital-letter accents and checks whether uploaded fonts support the language; AI Studio is reserved for Premium, while the free tier limits exports to watermarked 720p videos of up to 60 seconds.
