Monitoring platform for websites, APIs and real users.

#4 of 7 in Website Monitoring by Overall Score

What Is Uptime.com?

Uptime.com combines website and API checks with Real User Monitoring, synthetic transaction tests, and private-location monitoring. It can send outage notifications through email, SMS, voice, mobile push, and integrations, while its integration catalog connects incidents to PagerDuty, Slack, Opsgenie, Microsoft Teams, Datadog, Statuspage, and other operations tools.

Best for: Operations teams that need external and private monitoring plus flexible alert routing for websites, APIs, and user journeys.

Uptime.com synthetic transaction checks run in a Chrome-based browser and can validate multistep paths through JavaScript-heavy applications. This differs from an ordinary URL check that confirms only endpoint availability. Operations teams can pair the journey checks with public or private status pages and real-user monitoring to separate a broken workflow from a network outage.
