Contentsquare (formerly Hotjar): Pricing, Features & Alternatives
Heatmaps, session recordings, and on-site surveys.
Top-rated in Product Analytics#1 of 8 in Product Analytics by Overall Score
What Is Contentsquare (formerly Hotjar)?
Hotjar is now part of Contentsquare. Hotjar shows how visitors actually use a website through heatmaps, session recordings, and on-page surveys, helping teams spot usability and conversion issues that analytics numbers alone don't reveal.
New Hotjar accounts are no longer created: the vendor directs signups to Contentsquare Free. That replacement adds attention maps, funnels and error monitoring to the heatmaps and recordings customers associate with Hotjar, with a different session allowance; migrations should therefore distinguish legacy Hotjar entitlements from current Contentsquare packaging.
