What Is Make (formerly Integromat)?
Make is a web-based automation platform where workflows, called scenarios, are drawn as chains of app modules on a visual canvas. A router splits a scenario into several routes that run one after another in a set order, filters decide which data each route accepts, and a fallback route catches anything left over. Make documents five error handlers (Skip, Retry, Resume, Commit and Rollback), and Retry stores incomplete executions so failed runs can be fixed and resumed. Scenarios start from instant triggers such as webhooks, run on schedules ranging from regular intervals to specified dates, or run on demand. Make AI Agents use scenarios, single modules and MCP server tools as their actions, running on language models from providers such as OpenAI. Usage is metered in credits, with most module actions consuming one, and data transfer, data storage and webhook queue allowances grow with a plan's credits. Plans run Free, Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise.
Best for: Operations and marketing teams that build multi-branch automations across many apps and need control over how failures are handled.
Make represents automations as visual scenarios, exposing modules, routes, filters, data mappings, and error handling so users can see how information moves between services. AI agents can be included alongside deterministic workflow steps, giving teams more control over multi-stage processes than simple trigger-action tools while remaining more visual than a code-first integration project.
